Open Letter to the British – We Respect You Even if Our President Does Not

Please remember Prime Minister Brown that the U.S.A. and Great Britain have been strong allies for many years.  Please do not hold it against us that President Obama disrespected you by giving you the DVD’s and the little toy helicopter for your family when you and your family were so thoughtful and considerate in bringing such unique and thoughtful gifts to President Obama and his family.  Please remember that, we the people of the United States of America are appreciative for you taking your time to come and visit our leader, sorry he was so “tired” that he did not feel like doing a press conference with you.  Does Great Britain miss President G.W. Bush and first lady Laura Bush as much as many Americans do?  President Bush was not a perfect man but yet no man is perfect, at least President Bush never disrespected your Prime Minister and did not embarrass Americans like President Obama has done.  Please accept our apologies that our President who has no executive experience, who was a community organizer and when he was a legislature could not make up his mind or played it safe and voted “present” most of the time.  I apologize that a majority of Americans found “HOPE” pixie dust in their eyes and sorry they did not “CHANGE” their minds when they voted for this young, inexperienced man who has a proven track record of the inability to make decisions and has not had a real job in the private sector – sorry that Americans elected such a man to represent us.

Perhaps Prime Minister Brown if President Obama had his magical telepromter that gives him prepared answers of what he is supposed to say – perhaps Obama’s teleprompter could have picked out a classy and respectful gift for you and your family, and perhaps if Obama’s teleprompter had woke him up, perhaps he could have had the energy to have a press conference with you and not have been so “tired”.

In conclusion, thank you for your patience and understanding, in 2010 and 2012 “HOPE”fully we will have new representation that knows how to entertain leaders from around the world, and remembers who their friends are and not try and kiss up to their enemies (Taliban, Castro, etc…).

LETTER FROM A LAW STUDENT – a MUST Read for Conservatives and Liberals and Everybody in Between ; )

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters,

We’ve stuck together since the late 1950s, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know that we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and just will not ever agree on what’s right. So let’s just end it right now while we can do it on friendly terms. We can smile, shake hands, chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and each go our own way.

So here’s a model separation agreement.

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by land mass, each taking a portion. That’s going to be the difficult part, but I’m sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy. Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate taste. We don’t like redistributive taxes so you can have those. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. And since you hate guns and you hate war, we’ll take the firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O’Donnell. But you are going to be responsible for finding a biodiesel vehicle big enough to haul them around.

We’ll keep the capitalism, the greedy corporations, the pharmaceutical companies; we will keep Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have the homeless, the homeboys, the hippies and illegal aliens. We will keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, the greedy CEOS and all of the rednecks. We’ll keep the Bibles and we’ll let you have NBC and Hollywood.

You can be nice to Iran and Palestine and we’ll retain the right to invade and hammer anybody that threatens us. You can have the peaceniks and the war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we will provide them with security. You won’t have to worry about it. We will keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism and Shirley Maclaine. You can also have the UN, but we will no longer pay the bill.

We will keep the SUVs, the pickup trucks and the oversize luxury cars. You can have the compacts, the subcompacts and every Subaru station wagon you can find. You can give everybody healthcare, if you can find any practicing doctors. We will continue to believe that healthcare is a privilege and not a right. We will keep “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and the national anthem, and I am sure you will be happy to substitute in their place “Imagine.” I’d like to teach the world to sing “Kumbaya” or “We are the world.” We will practice trickle-down economics and you can give trickle-up poverty your best shot. And since it so offends you, we will keep our history, our name and our flag.

What Socialized Medicine Will Mean for You and Your Family, Courtesy of Obama / Pelosi / Reid and the Liberals in D.C.

As a Registered Nurse who is conservative and believes in capitalism, I was horrified when the chatter began again about socialized medicine (national health care).  This would not cause better health care, this would cause selective health care.  And the selection would not be from a patients doctor but the federal government would make decisions about who would get care and who would not get health care.  Ex.  healthy and active elderly person falls and breaks their hip, today if this patient and patients family decided for the patient to have the hip repaired the hip would be repaired.  Under socialized medicine it would be up to the government to decide if this person should get a hip repair.  Could you imagine the elderly person suffering until the day they die because the government thought it would cost too much to repair this person’s hip.  It is a form of socialism because the government looks at who is young, healthy, and able to work and they get the care first and those who are not healthy, not young, may possibly get care.

Which the above article brings me back to my original point as a Registered Nurse I cannot practice under such conditions with a good conscience.  If the Liberals get their way I will leave health care because I could not sit by and watch people who could be treated not get treated.  FYI, a little of this has already started – I have seen patients who need oxygen to keep them comfortable and give them a better quality of life but because they don’t meet the criteria that Medicare has put forth they are not allowed to receive oxygen.  I bet some of you are saying – why don’t they just pay out of pocket?  I had a patient tell me that she offered to pay out of pocket but because she had Medicare was told by the Doctor that the federal government could come in his office and shut him down if he prescribed the needed oxygen to the patient even if the patient wanted to pay out of pocket.  Folks, this is just wrong but I am sad to say I believe this “change” Obama / Pelosi / Reid believe in.
